According to the announcement of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Azerbaijani Architects (UAA), 4 projects of Vietnamese architects have won prizes at the 5th Baku International Architecture Prize.
- The Bo Mon School project won the first prize in the category of Best Project in the field of public architecture
Bo Mon school site in Empire City For Rent commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province is a charity work designed and built in 2018. To dedicate to nearly 70 children and 1 teacher from the H ethnic group. ‘Butt in 3 villages Bo Mon, Cayton, Co Tong within 2km from home to school. The project with a total area of 237 m2 was completed and officially operated in June 2019.
- MIA Design Studio’s The Straw won the Third Prize in the category of Best Project in Public Architecture
The Straw aims at an open space, in harmony with the natural scenery, pulling viewers back to the region of extremely close and rustic memories. The project was built in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City with a total floor area of 72m2.
The architects created a structure that matches the natural context here as much as possible, with the special properties of penetration, mingling, lightness and concealment… When the structure was formed. , looks like a bush of straw placed in the garden from afar.
- Tan Dinh villa project designed by MIA Design Studio won 3rd prize in the category of Best project in the field of residential architecture.
The house in Saigon is designed for a female owner who wants to have a comfortable and convenient living space right in the heart of the city.
The project creates horizontal living spaces suspended in the heart of a miniature park, feeling like walking on bridges. All indoor activities will be linked together through the wriggling gaps of trees, water and natural light.
- The renovation project of Mo Mao Khe park by H&P Architects won the second prize in the category of Best Implementation Project in the field of Landscape Architecture
The park has an area of 3.3ha located in Mao Khe town, Quang Ninh province, built in the 90s of the last century, has been severely degraded and abandoned for many years.
The work inspired by the symbol of the five rings of the Olympic Games represents unity, continuity and wholeness, which is the connection between culture and sport. This idea has been realized concretely by using discrete pieces combined with gaps to form squares connected to the surrounding courtyard.
